5.2.10.2 Train Schedule Transfer

If a Train Schedule Section contains information about a transfer (of the train consist) to and from another schedule, this alternate form is used for ths purpose:

For incoming transfer (“IN”)


For outgoing transfer (“OUT”)


  1. Name of the section

  2. Start Point (IN: reference to schedule this train is coming from, OUT: Station or Extern Group as end point of the last actual leg)

  3. Dest Point (IN: Station or Extern Group of the first actual leg to start. OUT: reference to schedule this train will continue)

  4. Crew Transfer: checked if crew continues after the schedule change, unchecked if new crew is needed for part of the split train to depart (OUT) or if crew will stay at the station/extern group if not needed after trains merge (IN).

  5. Exit: closes this window.

Notes:

  1. All incoming transfers are placed in front of the first actual leg. You can have more than one incoming transfers, which will represent a train merge. The order determines how the trains have to be arranged for the merge. The destination point is the start point of the first actual leg and cannot be changed here.

  2. All outgoiug transfers are placed after the last actual leg. You can have more than one outgoing transfers, which will represent a train split. The order determines how the trains are arranged after the split. The start point is the destination point of the last actual leg and cannot be changed here.

  3. There can be only one crew transfer flag active in each of the incoming and outgoing transfer group. If you click to set the flag in one of the transfer, all others within the same group will be unchecked automatically.
