To create a simple territory with the CTC Editor we recommend to follow this sequence

Initialize the CTC editor by selecting the Main panel menu item “File” → “Create New”. This clears out everything you may have loaded.

In the first phase you’re drawing the tracks as you want them to appear on your diagram and convert them to actual track elements.

In the second phase you put the pieces together (that you could not just draw) adding signals and stations etc.

The final third phase deals with the train schedule.
You can save your work at any time with the Main panel menu item “Edit” → “Write Territory” (1). It does not have to be complete or error-free. Note only parts that are going to be in a territory file can be saved, not any temporary drawings or markings.
